Two of our longest-standing contributions are a reflection of exactly that.
8-Bed Maternity Clinic at BGMEA Hospital
Before the world meets a new life, the mother deserves a space of peace and protection. With this thought, MCSL contributed an 8-bed maternity clinic at the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) Hospital; built especially for the women who hold this industry together. The clinic has helped almost 200 mothers go through successful maternal care with little to no cost at all.
Bangladesh's garment industry runs on the labor of its workers, and so many of them are women. This clinic is our way of making sure that the people behind the industry we serve every day have access to safe, dignified care when they need it most.
Coronary Care Unit at Chittagong Maa O Shishu Hospital
In fragile moments, having the right care at the right time can change everything. At Chittagong Maa O Shishu Hospital, MCSL extends support through an 8-bed Coronary Care Unit, a 6-bed High Dependency Unit, and a cardiac catheterization laboratory, providing round-the-clock service to the community. So far, this facility has served almost 3,124 patients.
Coronary and emergency care is often out of reach for the very people who need it most. By supporting this unit, we hope to close that gap, even in a small way, for families across Chittagong.
